My post from last spring break is 5 posts ago. It's like the whole year hasn't even happened in livejournal world. Anyway last weekend I went out to a bar for the first time in a long time meeting up with Tyler, Jessie, Matt, the Moores, Katie and others. It was nice seeing all of them for a change. I think Jessie is moving to Texas and they were having some pre-party for that. The day after that I went home and then ended up at the Abirached's house later in the night watching some Harry Potter movie. I think it was the 4th one. Not sure but they went back in time to save themselves in it. Sunday Heather and I went to the art museum to check out the surrealism exhibit and we also went to the butterflies of India show. Both were a lot of fun.
Around mid/end of March I went on a cruise to Nassau/Cococay/Key West, which was great. Prior to the cruise we stayed in some sketchy hotel in South Beach Miami for 2 or 3 nights. Yea we also arrived in Miami around 8am after I had been driving all fucking night and all I wanted to do was sleep. I slept in the car for about 30 mins and it was entirely too hot so I went to the beach. Anyway most things are completely overpriced in Miami so we didn't do all that much. We did however go to Key Biscayne again and I got to listen to all the girls bitch about how windy it was. It was fun though and I hung out with Raymond a lot in Miami. At one point the second night he approached me after he had dissapeared and proclaimed that he was under the influence of a certain substance and had acquired it from a random person in a parking garage. He appeared agitated that night and purchased many things out of impulse. The next night Raymond and I went to a sushi bar and it was raining a bit. All and all Miami was a good time.
The boat itself was very fancy and everything was incredibly expensive, especially alcohol. But you were served a full course dinner every night which was amazing. Heather and I went to an art auction and I asked the guy how much a painting was and he told me $16,000. Then he asked me if I wanted him to reserve it for me. The boat also has a club, a piano bar and random dancing events every night. Usually when there wasn't something to do I would just wander around but there wasn't a whole lot of downtime.
I'd say the highlight of the trip was in Nassau. The day started around 7am when we all woke up and then got a taxi to Atlantis. Which is apparently some huge hotel and a big deal and all. After we saw sting rays and fish for awhile we went to this beach beside it and these local guys start trying to sell us alcohol. Basically it was jungle juice out of half a coconut for $20. I was trashed and so was Heather and Raymond was in his own place that day. Raymond also bought weed off of some rasta looking guy for $20 which was funny. We took a cab back to Senior Frogs which is apparently the bar to go to in Nassau if you're a tourist, and since we were with Val we absolutely had to do all these things. Well Raymond ordered a huge meal and took one bite of it then went to the bathroom never to return. I helped back there and midway he puked in the middle of a hallway and I got the dirtiest look from some lady. Anyway I brought him water and while I was talking to the towel guy he dropped the drink spraying glass everywhere. Sortly after we left we all went to the market place where they heckle you and pressure you to buy shit, except raymond left after about 5 minutes and sat on a stone wall.
The second place we went to was Cococay which was a real nice place. It's basically just a secluded island you need a boat to get to and you hang out or tan or do whatever you do. I wanted to ride jet-skis but they charged like $80 for 30mins. Lunch was served and it was nice but it started raining late afternoon. The next day we went to Key West and wandered around shops for awhile. I also went to the southernmost point again. It's much more rewarding going to Key West when you drive there though I think. Raymond ended up walking back after awhile because he was so sick. We left the day that the ship docked and Val drove 95 mph down the highway at night and got a speeding ticket. Go figure on that. I was completely terrified almost the entire ride home. |

Well I just remembered that I haven't written anything in here in a long time but I don't have anything to write right now either. Except that war is hell and I have to walk to a study session in about 15 mins. Also, I'm going to be going on a cruise with my cousin and Heather and her friends for spring break. WOO CRZYY MAN.!! |

I haven't updated this thing all summer so I might as well. I've gone to the Blue Ash Rec a lot and the Mason Rec once. I've also gone to Myrtle Beach with my family and cousin Raymond and also with Heather and her family. Both times were a lot of fun, I went jetskiing and shit like that. Wait, scratch that. Heather and I drove to Isle of Palms which is actually near Charleston. Raymond and I ended up walking all over the place in Myrtle Beach and when I stayed with Heather's family we ended up staying at Wild Dunes which is a really nice community type lodge place. The first day the waves were crazy, so crazy in fact, that I thought I was gonna die, which is a good thing. We also went to a lot of shops and Charleston downtown market, which I haven't been to since I was about twelve. Yea, one night Heather's brothers Chris, Nick and I played capture the flag in pitch black with a bunch of kids that were around 7 years old. They got owned. About two weeks ago I worked at the ATP again which was okay except they messed up my check again but what else is new. Oh yea and I bought a rabbit. That was about 2 weeks ago. I drove to Lexington with Heather to pick it up from some crazy breeder lady.
Yesterday I went to IKEA and ended up buying a new computer desk, so last night I was putting it together while drinking and watching the National Democratic Convention which turned out to be really boring. The desk itself took like 3 or 4 hours to build or maybe I was just drunk. Anyway I'm sitting at it right now and it's badass. The first UC football game is tonight so I might go to that. Talk to you in 2 months. |

Hey there livejournal. I just had my birthday on Monday and that was pretty fun I must say. I spent the day hanging around with Heather going to lunch and the mall and such. I also bought a recording mic. Tonight I will be going to Jay's birthday party and the whole 2 people that read this should go too. Two days ago I took my car to get it's oil changed and then played some frisbee golf for the first time in about a year with Matt A. I actually did really well surprisingly. Yesterday I hung out with Heather all day and we went to some park and rented a paddleboat. Next Saturday I will be going to the beach and that will be badass, I hope. I am also thinking about declaring a second major in Fine Arts. Should I do this I will be expected to graduate in 9 years.

You know what's annoying? Global Warming. Here's the thing, a lot of people aren't convinced that global warming is real which is fine but, here's the argument. It is a scientific fact that the globe has been warming by several degrees since somewhere around the industrial age so, you can't disagree that the earth is generally warmer what you can disagree on is whether or not this warming is human induced or not. Which it most likely is... Anyway sorry my geology professor used to tell us everyday how we are all going to die soon. |

Hey well this weekend was pretty fun. Friday I got completely bombed and didn't pay a dime for alcohol all night. First I went to Jay's house and had got some Cptn in me then I went to Murphys with Jay, Billy, Bryan and Anthony. We had a bunch of free round cards so I had an Irish Car Bomb for the first time and it completely fucked me up. Mark ended up picking up me and Val's brother Nick and we went to SAE and I met up with Heather. Not too much was going on there so we went to Grill and then Sigma Nu and Lambda Chi. All of which were pretty fun. Last night I went to some party at ATO with DJ Diamond which was outside and it was cold as shit. After about 30 min they decided to move it inside and since I was drunk again I danced all night. It's also really cool to go to party's at frats with your girlfriend when she knows everybody and you can go upstairs to piss instead of waiting an hour in line. |

Ayyyyyyyyyyyy livejournal. So I haven't written in here in quite awhile but so what right. Anyway though lately shit in my life has been great. I have a girlfriend now which I think is a good thing, so I've been hanging out with her a lot and shit like that. Plus last night I just got back from a spring break trip with Billdozer.
We decided last week to go to Miami Florida for spring break. So we left around 5:15pm last Saturday I think and the drive took so long it was insane. We drove straight through and got to Miami at about 2-3pm the next day. Yea and it was pouring in Miami when we got there so that was great. Chris Martin was a champ and let us stay at his house in Miami which was so nice of him and although he said the house was shitty it was actually really nice I think. The first two days we were in Miami it rained so we pretty much just went out to eat and played bball and checked out South Beach and some of the bars. Me and Bill got drunk the second or third day too and stumbled around South Beach until we sobered up at like 6pm. The third day we went to some secluded ass beach on Key Biscayne which was really pretty and there was a lighthouse with a nice little restaurant. Also when we were driving there I noticed that the Sony Ericsson Open (a tennis tournament) was actually taking place on Key Biscayne which was cool because I've heard of it and I always wondered where it happened.
Anyway after Bill and I left Key Biscayne we decided to drive to Key West. Easily the most beautiful drive ever because you are driving from island to island in the Florida keys. The drive from Miami was like 3 hours and we got there around 8pm and stayed in some hotel called El Roncho. This was also the first night that Bill and I actually got to go out to bars at night. This was because we had to drive from Chris's house to most everything so we really didn't get a chance to hit up too many places at night. Anyway Bill and I start out at some hotel bar by a pier and we each get one drink and the bartender shows us all of the "hot spots." So we begin to jump from bar to bar. One of the more memorable bartenders we saw was Cory. The first shot we got I told him to make us whatever he wanted. So he makes us a bacardi bomb then walks away and forgets to charge us. Like 20 minutes later we order drinks from him again and he nods his head and walks away and serves 3 more ppl. So we ask for our drinks and hes like, "oh yea, sorry guys." He starts making the drinks and tries to pour liquor in the glasses but misses and doesn't realize it and Billy informs him that he is totally pouring liquor all over the counter so now he intentionally begins pouring liquor everywhere. Then he apologizes to us and says that the shots are free. Easily the coolest guy I've ever seen. After all that Bill and I start talking to homeless guys for about an hour. They told us all about the Cuban mafia and how Paul McCartney's bodyguard knocked them out and tons of shit that didn't make any sense. The final bar we went to two girls sat down at a table with us and started hitting on us I guess. So I'm wasted at this point and ask Bill if he wants to leave and he agrees. I ask one of the girls if she wants my jack and coke and she says no but I pour it into her glass anyway for some reason and she informs me that she was drinking wine, so I just go "Ok cya," and leave. Woops. The next day we went to the beach, Ernest Hemingway's house and the most southern point of the US and did some typical sight-seeing for awhile and then decided to head back for Miami.
So we stayed in Miami Wed night and then decided to drive to Siesta Key Thursday morning. It was pretty cool because it was a beautiful day and we had to drive through the Everglades. I'm pretty sure we saw at least 50 alligators on Alligator Alley. Got to Siesta Key around 1pm on Thurs and Heather gets us a visitor's pass at this badass hotel her and her family are staying at. So Bill and I hung out with her for awhile and I got to meet her family which was good because they are really nice people and bought us lunch. Plus Siesta Key has the nicest beach I have ever seen in my life. We left Siesta Key around 5:30pm and started driving towards Panama which is like a 7-8 hr drive. We ended up calling it a night in some random hotel because it was really late and we were tired. So we woke up the next morning and drove the last 2 hours to Panama City Beach.
We ended up staying at Days Inn because apparently the place is crazy and a lot of UC people were staying there. So Bill and I walked around the beach during the day and drank some 40s and got pretty drunk. We ended up walking to Holiday Inn where there was this giant stage set up with tons of people and that was pretty cool. We also met up with some KDs from UC as well as Leah and her friends. Later in the night we went to some bar with a 10$ cover with free beer and got pretty drunk. Also I saw some kid battle dancing and I thought he looked familiar and it turns out to be Chris Iker. So we talk to him for awhile and he says he is going to go to some dance school in Miami so that is pretty cool. Anyway I went back to the hotel after awhile and got woken up at 4 30am by like 30 drunk people screaming on the balcony.
We left Panama yesterday and started to drive home and the directions we had back to Cincinnati were crazy. They had us taking this weird back roads all across Alabama but it was pretty fun I must say. Anyway when we got to Louisville and my car starts going crazy and decelerating to 45 mph on the highway so now my car is fucked apparently. That's what happens when you put over 3000 miles on it in a week I guess. |

So hello there. Today was a pretty good one. First off I took a midterm in Geology. I knew about 3 of the answers, literally, I guessed on the rest. After that I went to a Barack Obama rally. I think he's a really cool guy. I already planned on voting for him but he has ideas and concepts that really make sense. It's kind of annoying when people say he has no plan for action. He's practically on the same page as Hillary and McCain wants to stay in Iraq for 300 years so why the fuck should I listen to his ass because that doesn't make any god damn sense.
But anyway, after that rally I came back home and then went to King Wok with Heather. She is very nice girl. Now I'm writing a 2 page paper. I have been for about 9 hours now. Well I'm fucked. Cya nvr |

So HEY. Well right now I'm sitting here bored waiting for some Jimmy Johns. It's gonna be really great when it gets here. Yesterday I went sledding with Ed, Heather, Val and Laura behind DAAP and that was pretty fun. All the hills were going straight into sidewalk or straight into a concrete building (RIP Ed) Yea but after all that we went to BW3s and that was pretty fun also. I think I'm gonna go snowboarding tomorrow. I have a lab due tomorrow but I'm assuming there is going to be no school even though I know there will be. Man I hope this food hurries the hell up. Valentines Day was yesterday!!!! WHEEEWWWWWWWWW. Who gives a fuck though right? It was like any other day to me. Pretty good all in all. It seems I'm always at the same place with a girl coming up on Valentines Day. Which is nowhere really but you know something is going on and then it ends up not working out. It's dumb because I'm in a place as to like, should I buy flowers and be a pimp or just not worry about it. Who cares anyway. All those exams I thought I failed I got all B's on and don't take it as I'm this smart kid whos always like OMG I'M GONNA FAIL OMG I DID SO BAD and then I get straight A's because that's really annoying. But yea I was surprised. Who cares about that though. Anyway I'm hoping this weekend is gonna be baller or some shit because why shouldn't it. |

Hey whats up? So this past week I just took all my midterms. I actually don't think I did well on a single one of them. At one point on my Geology exam I was writing down random answers because I wanted to leave so bad. I'm probably going to fail out of school now. I wanna take this class called "at the zoo." You get to literally go to the zoo for classes but apparently it was closed when it opened because I have early registration and it's closed now. Last night and the night before I went to Stratford bar and it was pretty cool. I think jay and nick got in a fight which is good for them. Nick just said he had punched somebody. Good for Nick. Well I think I'm going to go home soon. I also think I need to take a shower so I'm going to do that now. I wish I could remember more of what I've done in the past 18 months but I can't. I guess thats how livejournal works, you think you have so much to say until you go and write it down and you find out you don't have to say shit. |
